Privacy Policy for Project S

Project S is published by XFX.

Project S is developed by Stephane Quillet.

On Meta Horizon Store systems, Project S may also be associated with the developer account name Speedometerz.

This Privacy Policy explains how Project S may collect, use, store, and share limited player data when players use online gameplay features such as leaderboards or multiplayer.

Information we may collect

Project S may collect and use limited Meta Horizon / Meta Quest user data only when needed to provide gameplay-related features.

This may include:

  • Meta/Oculus profile name or display name;
  • Meta/Oculus user identifier or platform identifier, if required for platform features;
  • gameplay score data, such as leaderboard scores, destroyed robots, match results, or similar gameplay statistics;
  • multiplayer session information needed to connect players and provide online gameplay.

How we use this information

Project S uses this information only to provide the game experience and online gameplay features, including:

  • displaying player names and scores on leaderboards;
  • saving and showing gameplay statistics;
  • connecting players to multiplayer sessions;
  • supporting matchmaking, online sessions, and multiplayer gameplay;
  • maintaining basic game services and player-facing online features.

Service providers

Project S uses third-party service providers only when needed to provide the game, website, leaderboard, and multiplayer functionality.

Netlify is used to host the official Project S website, projectsvr.net, and may be used to provide leaderboard-related services. If a player submits or appears on a leaderboard, the player's display name and gameplay score data may be stored or displayed through Netlify-hosted services.

Photon is used to provide multiplayer functionality, including online sessions, player connection, matchmaking, and multiplayer gameplay features.

These service providers may process limited player data on behalf of Project S only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Advertising, analytics, and data sale

Project S does not sell user data.

Project S does not use user data for third-party advertising.

Project S does not use third-party advertising SDKs or external tracking tools.

Data sharing

Project S does not share player data for unrelated purposes. Player data may only be shared with service providers such as Netlify and Photon when needed to provide the website, leaderboard, multiplayer, or other gameplay-related features.

Data retention

Leaderboard and gameplay-related data may be stored for as long as needed to provide leaderboard and online gameplay features. Data may be removed when it is no longer needed, when the player requests deletion, or when required by applicable platform rules or law.

Please include enough information to help us identify the relevant leaderboard or gameplay data, such as your Meta/Oculus display name used in Project S.

Children's privacy

Project S is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is required by the Meta Quest platform and gameplay features. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through Project S and you want it removed, please contact us.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if Project S adds, removes, or changes online features, leaderboard systems, multiplayer functionality, service providers, or data practices.
